HOW TO USE GMAIL OFFLINE IN COMPUTERS AND MOBILE PHONES

The gmail is one of the most used platform by all the peoples to send and receive their mails from all the domain's and so the gmail had introduce the new feature offline mail to the mobiles and computers and so let us see how to enable in mobile an the computer.

Mobile

STEP-1

Open your gmail app from your mobile.

STEP-2

Click on the menu button from your gmail app.

STEP-3

Select the setting icon and open the settings from your gmail app.

STEP-4

Select the gmail account which you want to enable the offline mail usage.

STEP-5

scroll to bottom you see the data usage tab in that select the sync mail.

STEP-6

Select how many days mail wanted to be synced to your device.

Thus these mails and the attachments will be be stored to your mobile space for the future use and you can compose mail without internet but it will be stored in outbox when the internet turned on it automatically send the mails to responded mail addresses.

Computer

You can use gmail offline on your computer via the chrome browser but make sure that your browser version is 61 or higher.

STEP-1

Open your gmail in the chrome browser.

STEP-2

Click on the settings icon and select see all settings.

STEP-3

Go to General and offline.

STEP-4

Click on the enable offline box.

STEP-5

In this select out the number of old days mail to be stored in your system to make use of it in offline.

NOTE This will be stored in your computer to access it offline.

STEP-6

In this check box tick out if you want the attachments to be used in offline.

STEP-7

In security tab select keep offline data on my computer and if you want to remove those data's you can remove all the offline data's from your computer by clicking on the remove offline data on my computer.
